Three ways

About a week ago I met up with Jamie from Glam Latte, and as mentioned here we exchanged our items over mimosas. Our goal was to come up with a way to wear it, and style it on our own. My item to style was a Forever 21 short sleeve cardi.

I decided to come up with three ways to wear this cardi, and here are my styles:

Velvet Torch lace dress, F21 belt, DIY headband, DIY heels

F21 top, belt, & leggings, gojane.com heels, Tiffany ring, Tattooed Steel cuff

Frenchi long sleeve, F21 leggings, Nordstrom scarf, Jessica Simpson boots, Windsor ring, Target headband

Lately all my photos have been taken indoors, due to the either the rain or cold, or because by the time I get home from work it is completely dark. Hopefully once the sky clears up, and on my free time on the weekends I can take my photos outdoors again.

Style Tip: Don’t be afraid to layer and accessorize. It’s what makes the outfit more special and YOU!

so many places so little time & nothing to wear!

We’ve all been there. Minutes before heading out standing in front of the closet not knowing what to wear. I must admit I’m so guilty of it, I do it all the time. It’s so annoying – it drives me crazy!

Style tip: Solve your nothing to wear crisis by throwing on a dress shirt. Let the accessories do the rest… No biggie.
It’s very forgiving and flattering as long as you know how to wear it right.

I’m talking about Recycling here people!

I can’t remember the last time I went shopping. What I do know is that I haven’t purchased anything this year so far. Isn’t that unbelievable? It blows my mind just thinking about it.
I have to admit though, my mom and sis have bought me some stuff (love you guys), so I do have a few new things in my closet – thanks to my wonderful mom and sis!
Since I’m on a budget (aka broke), I tend to reuse a lot of my clothes.

Style tip: Accessorize your outfits differently each time you wear them. It’s actually not that bad. It’s like having multiple outfits all in one, and who doesn’t love that, are you kidding me?!

BAG LADY! In a fashion sense, of course…

I don’t know any girl who doesn’t love accessories. They’re like toys for grown-ups!

Style Tip: It’s definitely worth spending more money on your accessories, such as handbags and jewelry because you’ll tend to use them more than most of your clothes. You’ll carry your bag every day, whereas you probably won’t wear the same outfit nearly as often.

California BLEACH Girl

I’m all about re-inventing my wardrobe. I just love creating new things out of what I already have in my closet -it’s fun, it’s cheap, and it’s one-of-a-kind!

Style Tip: Experiment with bleach. Don’t be afraid if it doesn’t come out perfect. That’s the whole point!

Yoga Army top, f21 jeans & sandals, and bracelet from Nordstrom.

I think it’s important to have a good sense of humor because life is so unpredictable to be so sewious. Be silly -it’s good for ya!

I knew this flower would come in handy some day. Easy breezy!
