Not sure where I’m going but I know I’ll get there

If you follow me on twitter, you’d know that I recently got laid off from my job. After working there for a little over 3 years, I have to admit it’s very difficult for me to really take in. I’m sad to leave because I will miss my ~~colleagues~~ friends dearly, but I know this is only the beginning to something bigger and greater in my life.

Glimmer by JJ Basics Sweater: gifted, Kid Dangerous Grime Couture pullover, TSG white tee, F21 leggings & boots, Balenciaga handbag, H&M leg-warmers, Scarf – unknown, Versace sunglasses, Glass ring, Turquoise ring from Windsor, Multi bracelets.

Not to mention it was pouring rain the day I was hit with the news, AND to top it off there was a “love” letter waiting for me underneath my windshield wipers. $158 parking ticket. FABULOUS! Just want I wanted.

It is with bittersweet feelings, I embark on this new journey. While I prepare for a new career path, I am now able to dedicate more of my time on new Mel Mades, spend more time with my wuppies, and focus on what I am most passionate about.

You are not alone. A lot of people lost their jobs. Just try to become the one that will come back better and stronger. Chin up. you are young, beautiful and talented. Good things will come your way. I am also battling with my current job because the travel made me so tired thus the health condition is a big thing…

I got laid off from my first job out of college, and I was devastated. But it was actually one of the best things that ever happened to me because I decided to go back to school to get my Master’s, and that put me on the path to Web-based writing and where I was meant to be!
So I think perhaps the same is happening for you. One door closes, another opens. All you need to do is be fearless and walk through. The world is your oyster!
