Mel Made: Sparkly Toe Cap Pumps

I absolutely love my H&M pumps. Not only because they’re so comfortable, but because of the fabulous color, which is why I decided to throw on some rhinestones after a few scratches. Of course I couldn’t get rid of a good pair of pumps, especially when I only wore them a few times. So I thought it would be a brilliant idea to stone the toe cap to cover up the scratches.

TA-DA!!! What do you think?

What I used:
* Super Glue
* Rhinestones from Michaels
* Pen to mark the desire area to stone

Stay tune to see the tutorial, AND for tomorrow’s Mel Made!

  1. Oh wow! You did such an amazing job. I like them even more after you added the rhinestones. Oh, and I love Michaels. I’m obsessed with that store. I squealed when I saw that you bought the rhinestones there ha! xoxo

  2. Nice idea! :D
    You did a good job on placing the rhinestones on the shoe, I get sooo annoyed working with them! >.< lol
    But then again I didn't use a pen to make the markings. -.- Lesson learned! Thanks, lol. ;D

    Happy Monday to you too! I learned from another blog, that mon in french means-mine, so how cool, MY DAY! :D

  3. They are perfect! I love the DIY posts Mel, because why have things sit in your closet when they could be reinvented and well worn. You are one creative woman!

  4. …and the truth is, the economy has not come close to recovery. Very few woman are buying high end fashion, most are watching their wallets. Your recessionista spin is timely.
